Thanks to the recent rising Twitter popularity of Eve 6 vocalist/songwriter Max Collins, this very question has been a frequent topic of discussion on musical message boards lately...especially Sounds & Shadows. And while it may have started out as a running gag response to every topic under the sun, it slowly turned into a genuine desire to create a version of "Inside Out" that would speak to our Goth/Industrial scene.
Thus the unholy union of Amaranth and The Joy Thieves, who have combined to form Thieve6!
All the money raised from Thieve6’s first, only, and possibly last single will be donated to Razom For Ukraine. Why Razom For Ukraine? Easy. Thieve6 vocalist Myah VanTil lived in Ukraine for a while, and she named Razom as the charity organization she trusts the most to put these funds to good use. BOOM.
In order to raise as much money as possible for the cause, Thieve6 has decided to keep costs down with a simple, digital-only release. And while the price of the track will start at only $1, this is a cause that could REALLY use our help, so we are asking for people to pay more, if they are currently able.
And speaking of being an amazing, big-hearted, stellar human being….if you’d like to donate $20, $35, $50 or more to the cause, you're gonna want to check out the "Merch" tab above!
Take a quick look at the cover art for Inside Out. Surely this was an image that was created digitally, right? WRONG! It is a photograph that was painstakingly created by Thieve6’s good friend Whitney Flaherty at Anarchic Apertures! Along with the purchase of many sunflowers, Whitney created 24 3D printed tanks, which have all been personally autographed by her, and Thieve6 will be selling them as another way to raise money for Rozom!
Each autographed, 3D printed tank comes with a free download of “Inside Out!”
