Emerging dark wave/alt rock band Sword Tongue explodes back onto the scene with their third EP, Taming the Night Wolves.
The new sound bursting from these songs is an intense, skillfully woven sonic voyage that does not let up from start to finish. The signature alluring vocals and mesmerizing guitar tones that audiences have come to admire are married with hard hittng drum lines and dark, crunchy percussive textures that increase the intensity and urgency.
The band turns it up to 11 with new drummer and producer Dan Milligan who has worked with members of Ministry, Front 242, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, Stabbing Westward, and KMFDM, among others. Milligan wields his vision and genius to infuse Sword Tongue’s music with more depth, drive, and dimension.
Together, Milligan, Maleki, and Wilde forge a new path as collaborators, taking the music into the blended landscape of trip hop, industrial, and progressive rock reminiscent of the 90s alternative scene.
The mission directive remains the same - Sword Tongue truly creates dark music for dark times.
